Bio

AnnaSophia Robb is the only child of Janet and David Robb. She was born on December 8, 1993 in Denver, Colorado. She is a mix of Danish, English, Irish, Scottish, and Swedish. AnnaSophia was home schooled when she was young. During this time, it was obvious she was destined for a career in the limelight. At five years old, she was already competing in gymnastics competitions. By 7, she had moved on to dancing with a focus on Irish step, jazz, hip-hop, and break-dancing. A year later, she not only received her first recurring national radio voiceover gig, but also her first acting role in a local commercial. AnnaSophia attended high school at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado and was even accepted into Stanford University in May of 2012, but had to defer due to an acting commitment.

AnnaSophia's first major acting role in Hollywood came in 2004, when she was cast in a small role on the Nickelodeon series "Josh & Drake." The same year, she landed the lead part in the made-for-TV film "An American Girl Holiday." All the while, she was shooting her first major motion picture role in the 2005 film "Because of Winn-Dixie" alongside Jeff Daniels, and starred in the popular Tim Burton Adaptation of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" as well. This lead to another major role she played in 2007's "Bridge to Terabithia," and even sang one of songs on the soundtrack titled "Keep Your Mind Wide Open," which reached #90 on the Billboard Hot 100 list the first week it was released.
