Bio

Born on February 3, 1982 in San Diego, California, Bridget Catherine Regan spent her childhood prepping herself to be the actress you see before you today. Like many young aspiring actresses, she took a shine to the stage at a young age, starring in productions of "The Wizard of Oz," "Annie," and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at the La Paloma Theatre in Encinitas, California. From here, she ventured on to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts after graduating from San Dieguito Academy High School. While in North Carolina, she studied drama under director Gerald Freedman.

By 2006, Bridget had made her way back to California to pursue her dreams of being a screen actress. After a year of taking on small roles in TV movies and series such as "Love Monkey" and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," she was cast in a recurring role on the NBC drama series "The Black Donnellys." Even though the series wouldn't go on to make it to a second season, this was enough exposure for Bridget to get noticed, making her way to the big screen the following year in a small role in "Sex and the City," based off the popular HBO series. But by this time, she had already been cast in the role of Kahlan Amnell on ABC's "Legend of the Seeker." While not necessarily a series watched by all, it was enough to grant her a cult following that still lives on today, with many of her fans clamoring that she star as Wonder Woman in an eventual film.

Since then, Bridget has gone on to even more high profile roles on TV series such as "Beauty and the Beast," "White Collar," and Marvel's "Agent Carter" based off the popular Captain America films.
