Brooke Elizabeth Burns was born on March 16, 1978 in Dallas, Texas. As someone so naturally beautiful, it might come a surprise that she actually hadn't planned on being a model or actress growing up. Instead, she spent 12 years of her life training to be a ballet dancer. Of course, with dreams having a way of unexpectedly getting shattered, Brooke suffered a terrible skiing accident at age 15 which tore her anterior cruciate ligament and sidelined her dancing career. Fortunately, it wound up being a blessing in disguise for the young blonde, who soon took a shine to a modeling career which opened many doors.
With her family moving to Europe when she was 16, Brooke was able to find many opportunities in the modeling world living in locations such as Paris, Milan and Munich. By 1997, she was cast in a recurring role on the hit FOX series "Ally McBeal" which lead to a much more prominent role on "Baywatch" a year later. Such exposure, especially the kind which involves people seeing you running on a beach in a sexy swimsuit, lead to her first film role in the Farrelly Brothers' comedy "Shallow Hal" in 2001.

Brooke has had nothing but continued success ever since. Along with starring roles on series including "North Shore," "Pepper Dennis" and the revitalized "Melrose Place" of 2009, she also went on to host a variety of game shows. Among them include NBC's "Dog Eat Dog," FOX's "Hole in the Wall" and GSN's "The Chase." She even starred alongside Jason Alexander, her former "Shallow Hal" co-star, in the 2012 music video for Canadian band Nickelback's single "Trying Not to Love You." With a career which has showed no signs of slowing down, the future of her career is looking as bright and bubbly as her personality.
