Devin Kelley is an actress probably best known for her work on the series “Resurrection.”
Devin Kelley grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, but also spent four years with her family in Brussels, Belgium. She attended Eastview High School and then the University of Southern California where she graduated with a BFA in acting. While at USC, she earned the David Dukes Memorial Scholarship and Ava Greenwald Memorial Award for Outstanding Graduating Actor. She also spent a semester studying at the British American Drama Academy in London.

Devin Kelley said, “London has such an unbelievable respect for theatre, where L.A. does not.” Once she graduated from college in 2008, she earned a place at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. She also worked at a steakhouse to pay the bills. As a vegetarian, she couldn’t wait to get away from the smell of cooked meat.
But her breakout role was on “The Chicago Code,” where she prepared for the role by going on police ride-alongs, as well as visiting the county morgue. “I went to the gun range, through tactical training…we didn’t wanna fall into phoney baloney cop stereotypes.”
The show, however, was cancelled after 13 episodes. Devin Kelley said, “Only one of the cast members would listen to me talk about how devastated I was…the rest were like, ‘Dude, it happens. It’s all part of the business.’”
She is sometimes called an “old soul,” and she embraces the moniker. “I’ve always felt like a 40-year-old woman. I’ve always known what I wanted to do, and now I’m here.”
She has also appeared in “Chernobyl Diaries” and “Covert Affairs.”
Devin Kelley resides in Los Angeles and is single.
