Bio

Kathryn Felicia Day was born in Huntsville, AL on June 28, 1979. A child genius, more or less, she got her start in acting at age 7, when she starred as "scout" in a local production of "To Kill a Mockingbird." Home-schooled throughout her childhood, Felicia split her time between her schoolwork and studying operatic singing and ballet, even performing in competitions nationwide. On top of all that, she was also and accomplished violinist. She would eventually go on to graduate top of her high school class in 1995 at the age of 16, as a national Merit Scholar, no less.

Felicia was given a full ride to the University of Texas at Austin for her violin performance, which she took even though she had also been accepted into the Juilliard School of Music. Not surprisingly, she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Violin Performance. With such a wide array of talents, it's no wonder that she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career after graduation.

Once in L.A, Felicia began landing small roles on series such as "Undeclared" and "Monk." Her biggest roles starting out came from the series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and film "Bring It On Again." But in 2007, Felicia began writing, producing and acting in her own web series titled "The Guild," loosely based on her own personal experiences as a gamer. After the show's first season on YouTube, the show had acquired so many views that it was picked up by Microsoft to run on their three major video channels: Xbox Live, MSN Video and The Zune Marketplace.

From that point forward, Felicia's fanbase grew astronomically. More mainstream followers probably know her best for her guest-appearances on such series as "House, MD" and "Lie to Me," while her loyal nerds continue to watch "The Guild" and other series she has starred in, including "The Legend of Neil" and "Dragon Age; Redemption." She bridges the gap between nerdy and mainstream with her roles on such series as "Eureka" and "Supernatural."
