Paget Brewster is an American actress probably best known for her role on “Criminal Minds.”
Paget Brewster grew up in Massachusetts and went to a boarding school where her parents were teachers. Once she graduated, she attended Parsons School of Design. She left after a year in order to pursue an acting career. She moved to San Francisco and took acting lessons at the Jean Shelton Acting Studio.
Paget Brewster used to sing for the band Sleeping Pills and hosted her own Bay Area talk show called The Paget Show in the mid-90’s. She made about 65 episodes. In 1996, she moved to Los Angeles and landed roles on pilots that never made it to air. Her first big break came on “Friends” playing Joey’s girlfriend in the fourth season. But it was her role on “Criminal Minds” that made her a star.
Paget Brewster left the show “Criminal Minds” because she “didn’t really feel challenged anymore…I was getting cranky on ‘Criminal Minds.’” She has also appeared in “Batman: The Dark Knight Returns.”
In 2006, Paget Brewster received an offer to pose in Playboy, but she turned it down.

When she was 43, Paget Brewster said, “I’ve reached the point where I really can’t care what anyone thinks. Of course, I do. I’m an actress. I’m totally insecure, but I’m trying to stick to my guns about what is important to me, and it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks I should or shouldn’t do.”
Aside from acting, Paget Brewster sometimes works as a photographer for SuicideGirls. She is engaged to Steve Damstra from the band Fold Light. She can also be found at Comic-Con. “I go to all the Comic-Cons. I have a geek side.”
