Stephanie Fantauzzi is a Brazilian actress and model. She is known best for her role as Estefania on the Showtime series "Shameless."
Stephanie Vanessa Fantauzzi was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil on March 17, 1987, but her family then moved to Boca Raton, Florida shortly after. Growing up, Stephanie was always interested in both modeling and singing, and spent a great deal of time doing both while traveling between Miami and New York. As she aged into her late teens, however, her interests shifted and she decided to focus on attaining her degree in Journalism and Sociology from Florida Atlantic University. All the while, she traveled with her father as his interpreter while he made business trips for their family business.
It was while on one of her father's trips to Brazil that good fortunate struck Stephanie in the form of landing her first ever professional acting role in the award-winning short film "Predilecao" in 2009. Officially bitten by the acting bug, she made her way to Los Angeles where she studied at the Eric Morris and Aaron Speiser Acting Studios before landing a minor recurring role on the Nickelodeon series "Big Time Rush." From here, it was simply a matter of persistence. After several small roles on series such as "Death Valley" and "Love That Girl!," Stephanie finally caught what is considered her big break when she was cast in a major recurring role on the Showtime series "Shameless."
After her role as Jimmy's wife Estefania on "Shameless' came to an end in 2013, Stephanie kept on keeping on. She played a small role on "NCIS: Los Angeles" the very same year, as well as won the role as Alex the salesgirl in the TV movie "Mingle." By 2015, she had landed her first feature film role in "Good Kids" starring Ashley Judd.
