Her inkwork has graced the flesh of people like Queens of the Stone Age, Bam Margera, Jenna Jameson, Margaret Cho, Metallica, Slayer, Incubus and many, many more
She's got her own show, a makeup line and legions of L.A. wannabes that would tear out their eyes to spend a day in her shoes. Jesse Hughes of Eagles of Death Metal fell in love with her, got his heart broken and wrote a song about it.
We're talking, of course, about Kat Von D, the heavily-inked star of the hit series "L.A. Ink." She dropped out of school at 14, pulling from the East L.A. culture to hone her style, believing in her skills enough to practice on herself before setting up shop in tattoo parlors two years later. Soon she was headed to "Miami Ink," which led to her own record-setting show, "L.A. Ink," and a match-made-in-hell coupling with Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx.
That brings us to now, where we decide to inflict some serious eye candy upon you, for no other reason than to celebrate L.A.'s hottest inkstress. Enjoy.
