It´s that time of the year again! Eye fleets of internationally-acclaimed cars, new releases, and catch first glimpses of 2011 hybrids at some of the hottest car shows in the world. This fall, the world´s largest auto show (held in Frankfurt) and a series of smaller, regional auto shows pay homage to the latest innovations of the day, including electric vehicles, roadster concepts, the return of a trouble-plagued Italian brand to the USA, and more.
Here is a list of the top ¨can´t miss¨ auto shows for fall 2010.
Frankfurt Motor Show

Called the world´s largest automotive fair, with miles of displays (literally!), the Frankfurt Motor Show will be held from September 15th to the 27th in Frankfurt, Germany . Unlike other international shows, this motor show is predominently German with Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche in attendance. Watch all of these brands try to out-do one another with lavish displays and a famous rock star (or two) thrown in!
Orange County Auto Show

The Orange County Auto Show takes place on October 7th with a six-hour, jam-packed event in Anaheim, California. This year several hundred new cars will debut, incuding SEMA concept cars and alternative-energy cars. Last year´s show was a success, with several concept vehicles introduced, including the bat-mobile clone Chevrolet Stingray and the re-designed Toyota 4Runner. Plus, the Orange County Auto Show will have plenty of side entertainment, including music, model searches (it is California!), and other events.
Paris Motor Show

The ¨Mondial Automobile¨ is one of the most respected auto shows in the world, supporting the latest in auto developments and education. Two years ago, the show broke records with 1.5 million visitors. This year, debuts include the 2012 Mercedes Benz CLS class, the Kia´s POP Electric Minicar, and the Lotus Evora SA. My favorite addition is the Honda Fit Hybrid´s debut, which marks the first hybrid sub compact model with a 40/40 mpg fuel economy. In addition, there are learning conferences with small workshops in eco-driving, electric vehicle education, and more.
The Paris Motor Show is from the 2nd to 17th of October. For exhibitor and pricing information click here.

The Los Angeles Auto Show has a record number of debuts (40) this year. Included is the return of Nissan and Infiniti with their latest models and a series of electric vehicles including the Chevrolet Volt and the Nissan Leaf. Look for it this November 19th to the 28th. A perfect ending to the Thanksgiving weekend!
