Keynote speaker of the Worldwide Developers Conference Steve Jobs finally revealed details on the new iPhone 4, much to the delight of attendees as well as tech bloggers. The latest version of the gadget includes a thinner design (it’s less than 10 millimetres thick, which is 24 per cent thinner than its predecessor), better display capabilities (326 pixels per inch with heightened contrast), a front-facing camera (ideal for teleconferencing), and a much longer battery time (40 per cent longer, in fact).
Both 16- and 24-gigabyte models will be available. Internal antennas allow the new iPhone 4 to be compatible with Bluetooth, WI-Fi and GPS, and UMTS and GSM.

The new iPhone 4 will make its market debut on June 24th in five countries – the U.S., France, Germany, Britain, and Japan, and in Canada by the end of July (pre-orders begin June 14th).
According to an article in PC World, Jobs stated that this new generation of iPhone is "beyond a doubt, the most precise thing and one of the most beautiful things we've ever made."
And for just $4.99 at the app store, Jobs said you can get iMovie, allowing the user to edit video clips and add captions all on their iPhone 4. Another video chat app called FaceTime utilizes Wi-Fi between two iPhone 4s and takes advantage of the aforementioned front-facing camera.
The Worldwise Developers Conference runs until June 11th. Visit their official site for the latest info http://developer.apple.com/wwdc.
