EXCLUSIVE: Peter Jackson on 'King Kong 360 3-D'

This summer King Kong returns to Los Angeles! The new attraction, “King Kong 360 3-D” Created by Peter Jackson will become a featured highlight at Universal Studios Hollywood. A while back we premiered the teaser trailer for the ride, which you can see here: King Kong 360 3-D 

Recently we attended a preview of “King Kong 360 3-D” and it is pretty cool. The attraction is part of the studio tram tour, Visitors  put on 3-D glasses and you are taken to Skull Island where you get to see King Kong do battle with a group of V-Rex, the larger cousins of the T-Rex. The whole thing is very immersive and interactive and should make fans of the old ride as well as new visitors, very happy.

In our exclusive clip, Peter Jackson talks about the mythology and story behind the attraction and how the attraction will work. “We’re confident that our ‘King Kong’ attraction is the largest, most intense 3-D experience on the planet,” Jackson said. “Our intention was to create an enormously spectacular and immersive 3-D experience and we’re pretty confident that we’ve done that.”
