2009 Tokyo Motor Show - Highlights

With the Toyota Prius receiving the honorable "Car of the Year - Japan" award, it comes as no surprise that the theme of this year's Tokyo Motor Show was focused on environmentally friendly vehicles, or better summarized at the expo as "Fun Driving for Us, Eco Driving for Earth". With 109 automotive companies on display, the convention was more than just a platform for the local Japanese cars to debut their latest models, there was also a dominant international representation illustrating the shift to fuel-efficient vehicles.
