There is only one theme park that can boast that it takes you inside some of the best movies ever. That theme park is Universal Studios. All year round the park is visited by people from both near and far, bringing the film business into the light for all to experience and enjoy. For a select few there is an extra added bonus when the calendar gets closer to October.
In October the park transforms to become even more than just a cool theme park, it becomes the epicenter of all things Halloween! Universal Studios proudly presents Halloween Horror Nights and has pulled out all the stops for this year’s festivities.
Where else will you be able to experience the sheer horror of the Saw franchises demented traps? Thanks to Rob Zombie, Michael Myers is back and more horrifying than ever. Now you can face the masked killer during Halloween Horror Nights along with the infamous masked miner from the soon to be cult classic My Bloody Valentine.
As if that wasn’t enough Universal is determined to provide the most exciting and scary events that you could possibly participate in. Old favorites like the Bill and Ted Show are back and revamped for 2009. But it wouldn’t be Halloween without a special tribute to the classic of classics The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
The Horror starts this Friday October 2nd and will not let up until October 31st. That gives you an entire month to make your way to Universal Studios to have the living day lights scared out of you. Do yourself a favor and get your tickets in advance as the show will sell out and fast.
