The Geek Goddesses

The women that run counter culture.

The Geek Goddesses

Counter culture is exactly that, counter to what’s considered the social norm. There is one endearing problem with counter culture, it eventually becomes popular culture. The women we’re going to feature all share one thing in common, they are signposts that our current counter culture will soon become simply culture, completely accepted as the norm by the masses. It doesn’t hurt that their smoking hot to boot.

These women serve to remind sweaty fan boys that girls do in fact exist and that if you talk to them they’re actually very nice! So without further ado here is our list of girls that make it okay to be labeled as a geek.

Blair Butler

We first fell in absolute like with Blair Butler watching her ‘Fresh Ink’ segments on G4TV. She brings her acumen for comics with her on screen and tells you what’s what in the world of comics. Just recently she was given the distinction of being featured on the cover of Booster Gold #23.

Felicia Day

Star of the web hit The Guild and a featured player on Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along blog Felicia Day is the fan girl that fan boys imagine being behind the avatar they play with. Incredibly cute this girl is as funny as she is adorable. Check out her work and we’re sure you’ll agree that geek culture has arrived in the mainstream.

Kat Von D

Star of the reality series LA Ink, Kat Von D simply screams counter culture and she’s far out hot to boot. Not exactly a geek, but a representative of sub culture all the same. Fan boys think they can’t get girls like this which is likely true, but the fun is in the chase my friends. So put those comics and trading cards down my friends and find yourself a tattooed beauty to chase down (legally of course!).

Olivia Munn

Olivia Munn is a certified Geek Goddess of the highest order. Her hit program Attack of the Show is funny and well put together. She and co-host Kevin Pereira are the voices of a generation and that’s pretty cool. From what we hear Ms. Munn is more than a pretty face, she’s also very nice and fun to be around. That’s just what we’ve heard, and we pray every day at our Olivia Munn shrine that it’s true.

Alexa Mendez

Not a whole lot is known about the current vixen over at Marvel comics except that she brings you the most up to the minute info imaginable for Marvel. Her video shorts are funny and informative and she’s cute to boot. In order to check her out just head over to Marvel.com and have gander at this comic book cutie.
