Ryan Friedlinghaus’ West Coast Customs is one of the most well known auto customization shops in the world, thanks to its celebrity clients and the MTV series, Pimp My Ride.  Since leaving MTV, Ryan has taken his staff to a new location (60 miles east, in Corona, CA) and a new network, TLC. The new series is called Street Customs and it is a better representation of the actual work that is done at WCC. In the new 25,000 square foot garage the crew does everything from custom paint jobs and high end stereos to performance upgrades and body modifications. Ryan says, "No more coffee machines in cars. EVER."

During our visit we got to take a look at the entire facility and we even got to talk to Ish, who he offered us some Rockstar energy drinks from his fridge. While we were at the shop, the TLC crew was filing an episode of the show featuring a customized Dodge Challenger. Since starting the new show, the WCC staff has switched to a 12 hour work day so that they can work on their regular customization work as well as film the show.

Take a look at the video below.
