Monday is Saint Patty’s day, and you know what is awesome about that? It’s the drinking holiday. Sure people use, Christmas, New Years, Thanks giving, and what not as an excuse to drink, but Saint Patrick’s Day is all about drinking, and nothing else. So sit back, relax, and enjoy this week’s beer, shots, and games as you prepare for next week’s Irish delight. |
Shot of the Week: Irish Car Bomb.
Fill A Pint with Guinness
Take ½ Shot of Jameson’s Irish Whiskey
½ shot of Bailey’s Irish Cream into your favorite glass, let the foam go all the way down, then finish pouring. Through throwing out the foam like in most American bars you start to lose some of the taste and aroma, and if you wait and be patient, then you can truly enjoy this beer for its glorious fullness.
Game of the Week: Drink to the F-Bombs.
If you are in an Irish Pub or hanging out at home there are two ways to play this game. If you are home with friends, put on the movie Boondock Saints, and then simply take a drink every time you hear the F word, of course you won’t make it the whole movie, but at least you tried. Secondly if you are in a pub, still take a drink every time you hear the F-Bomb dropped, trust me you will hear it more here than in the movies. Please don’t die, and make sure you check back next week as I report from the beach.
Drop the shot glass into the pint, and chug.
Beer of the Week: Guinness
Guinness is a much darker beer that is actually from Ireland, brewed in Dublin, and if you prefer to enjoy this beer the traditional way, then don’t scoop out the foam, instead pour the beer
