July Lease Deals

Drive more for less with this month's specials.

July looks to be picking up with special lease deals. Cars valued at $30,000 are going for $319 per month and mid tier compacts are going for a modest $179 per month.

Here are our picks for July's best lease deals.

2011 Volkswagen Jetta S – $179/mo for 39 months with $1999 due at signing

The Jetta comes packaged as a more affordable option this year, at close to $1800 less than the 2010 version in hopes of competing with the Fiesta and the Elantra. Pros include a Top Safety Pick distinction by the IIHS, a diesel option, and large trunk space. Cons include an average fuel economy (23/33 mpg) for its class and a cabin inexplicably outfitted with cheaper plastics than its 2010 version.

2011 Toyota Sienna – $289/mo. with $1,900 due at signing

The Sienna is a class leader, known for exceptional value and decent fuel economy (19/24 mpg) High marks go to its sporty ride, the choice of a four cylinder or V6 for 187HP and 266HP respectively, all wheel drive, third row seating, and lots of high tech options including a rear seat split DVD video screen, parking sensors, and a rear view camera.

2011 Toyota Camry – $219/mo with $1000 down

The Camry is offering the lowest down payment around. The best selling car of the past 10 years has been blasted by reliability concerns but has grown stagnant in an increasingly innovating midsize class. However, it is a comfortable commuter car with a well-insulated cabin, smoother engines, and large interior space. At $219 per month, those traits are hard to beat.

2012 Honda Civic LX – $189/mo. For 36 months with $2599 due at signing

This Civic’s claim to fame is its all-new i-MID (Intelligent Multi-Information Display) for the LX model and up. Bluetooth enabled, it also displays information on fuel economy, and audio specs, and is fully customizable with the ability to display your own wallpaper images and colors. The Civic has largely not been innovative over the likes of the Elantra and the Fiesta but continues to be a solid choice for a commuter car.
