7 Star Wars Christmas Songs

Chewbacca, C3-P0 and Darth Vader inexplicably celebrate an Earth holiday.

Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away… they somehow managed to hear about Christmas. For whatever nerdy reason, the characters from Star Wars celebrate both Christmas and an atrocious Wookie stand-in called “Life Day.” Here are a few choice holiday tracks from the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special, “Christmas In The Stars: Star Wars Christmas Album” and from the fans.

James Griffiths – “A Traditional Star Wars Christmas Melody”

Finally, Luke Skywalker and Jesus Christ – teaming up!

Chewbacca – “Silent Night”

The only Christmas song you’ll ever need.

Droids – “What Can You Get A Wookie For Christmas (When He Already Owns A Comb)”

Styling gel? A blow dryer? A gift certificate to a barber shop? God, these droids are stupid.

Darth Vader and Ottawa Regional Youth Choir – “Carol of the Bells”

When you join the dark side, you get free guitar lessons.

C3-P0 and R2-D2 – “Sleigh Ride”

In turn, R2-D2 should teach C3-P0 how to be less annoying.

Princess Leia – “Happy Life Day”

“All of you are an important part of my life,” says a drugged-out Harrison Ford. Drugged out Carrie Fisher agrees in song.

Sci-Fried – “A Star Wars Christmas”

I think more fictional characters have saved Christmas than haven’t.
