"Hi-Diddily-Ho" my fellow Simpsons Fans!

Only 2 short days left until the Simpsons Ultimate Fan Marathon Challenge

The stakes are high with a $10,500 grand prize and a chance to break the Guinness World Record set by myself (Kevin Coon), Farris Hodo, and Victor Lopez in Dec, 2010 for the show 24.

Watching TV for that long was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life, and I prepared for weeks in advance.

As one of only 3 people in the world who truly understands what it's like to be in a television-watching marathon continuously for over 86 hours, I am returning to Hollywood & Highland for the Simpsons Marathon from Feb 8 - Feb 12, 2012. I'll be there to cover the event, coach the contestants, and share some of the "tips and tricks" that helped me break the record.

The beauty of this competition is that it is all willpower.

You CAN do this.

You don't have to be faster than anyone, or the smartest, or the strongest... nope.

You just have to make the decision to reach the finish line, no matter what, no matter how bad things get in there... it can be done... and it will be done.

By the time the third night rolls around, and it feels like your living in a giant Dutch oven, with smells you will never be able to identify, but will remember for the rest of your life.

When your feet are cold and sweaty and your body is achy, when the episodes start blending together, and your peripheral vision is playing tricks on you....

Just remind yourself why you came, visualize the win, and remember this...

It's nothing compared to what our P.O.W's have to deal with... we simply get the luxury watching the greatest cartoon ever for a chance at cash, glory, and a boat load of sweet Simpsons merchandise.

So to all the contestants:

Get mentally prepared, physically rested, and make a note of some of these helpful tips and tricks...
