The run up to the The Simpsons 500th episode included a Yellow Carpet where we talked to producer Al Jean, and actors Nancy Cartwright (Bart Simpson), Yeardley Smith (Lisa Simpson) and the fans attempting to break the world record for continuous television viewing.
Jeremiah Franco from Los Angeles, CA and Carin Shreve from Acampo, CA broke the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous television viewing! The watched The Simpsons for 86 Hours and 37 Minutes and for their troubles they each won $10,500!
