[VIDEO] Melissa P.  shows us the secret to the Big Mac

Welcome to Episode #2 of Hot for Food.  Do you find yourself having cravings for two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles and onions ALL on a sesame seed bun?  Well, never fear my indulgent friends!  Melissa is going to show you how to make your own Big Mac at home!

Hot for Food Recipe – Big Mac

2 all-beef batties (about 1/4 pound)
Special Sauce (I recreated mine with thousand island dressing, a squirt of mustard and dash of relish)
Lettuce (shredded lettuce)
Cheese (1 slice American cheese)
Pickles (2 thinly sliced pickle chips)
Onions (a pinch of thinly sliced onion)
Sesame seed bun (you will need one and a half…one for the actual sandwich and just the bottom part of another bun as the middle bread layer in between the patties)

Start by making the special sauce.
Then form the beef into two thin patties, the size of the bun. Season both sides of the patties with salt, pepper and a pinch of onion powder.
Heat 1 tbs. of olive oil in a large skillet and when hot, cook the patties for about 3 minutes per side.
While the patties are cooking, get the rest of the Big Mac ready to go.
Spread 1 tbs. of the special sauce on the top of the bottom and middle bun.
Add a handful of lettuce to each. Then topping the lettuce, on the bottom bun add the cheese. On the middle bun on top of the lettuce, add the pickles and onions.
Then add the patties on top of each when cooked.
All you have to do is add the top of the bun and get ready for not the Ultimate Big Mac Attack!!
