Welcome to Episode #3 of Hot for Food. Sometimes you just want an all American meal. So, last weeks episode, we introduced you to the Big Mac. This week, Melissa tops it off with a healthy french fry recipe, with a kick!
Hot for Food Recipe – French Fries
3 Large Russet Potatoes
2 Tbs Olive Oil
1 Tbs Salt
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Paprika
1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1/2 tsp Pepper
Just 3 easy steps!
Start by preheating your oven to 400 degrees and for easy clean-up, line a baking sheet with foil.
Next, slice the potatoes into fry shape. I like to keep the skin on because that's where all the nutrients are.
Put the potato slices in a large plastic sealable bag, add the olive oil and spices then shake to evenly coat.
Place the potatoes on the baking sheet, making sure they are in a single layer for even cooking.
Then in the oven for some hot lovin, bake 25-35 minutes, stirring occasionally, until nice and golden brown!
