As Yoda would say – "begun, it has".
No less than 24 hours after Disney's $4.05 billion acquisition of Lucasfilm was announced had this video of Darth Vader enjoying a few attractions in Disneyland made its way onto the theme park's official YouTube page.
Predictably, the joyous and utterly harmless 68-second clip has already raised the ire of many a Star Wars fan. "DON'T RUIN STAR WARS YOU FUCKING DISNEY ASSFACES!!!", says 325irollin, who enviously seems to exist in a world where the prequels didn't happen. "I feel a VERY BIG disturbance in the force…" GRRStarcraft concurs.
But whatever your opinion of the Disney/Lucasfilm takeover, there's no denying the appeal of watching Darth Vader enjoying himself on a carousel.
