Are We There Yet? – Sun-drenched Hotspots

Travel news for California and Jamaica.

I love the West Coast, especially Cali, and I'm a huge fan of beautiful Jamaica, so I was super stoked when I received news about these two awesome destinations.

First up, Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa in California has partnered with VR Green Farms of San Clemente to acquire the market's supply of local, seasonal, and organic produce, incorporating these ingredients into spa treatments. "The Spa at Laguna Cliffs is proud to support local business by incorporating natural, high quality ingredients from VR Green Farms in our seasonal spa treatments. We source avocados, rosemary, honey, and olive oil. Wellness is expanding to include eating local and spa-ing local," said Spa Director Jessica Timberlake in a release. "Our partnership with VR Green Farms allows us to pamper our guests with fresh, organic ingredients from sunny Southern California."

All ingredients featured in their Farm-To-Table Spa services are sourced from VR Green Farms, like the Farm-to-Table Facial, where avocados sourced from the farm are an excellent eye treatment and one of two honey masks are also used. A 60-minute treatment will cost $160. You can also try their Farm-to-Table Body Treatment and get some relief from the winter season. Fresh rosemary is blended with sea salts and extra virgin olive oil, then massaged all over the body to buff away any hint of dryness. Then, a hand-whipped blend of sage-infused honey and organic shea butter is gently applied, absorbing completely into the skin for the ultimate hydration. Another 60-minute indulgence, this treatment is $165.
