Rdio Launches Longer Free Trial In Canada

Music streaming site is offering Canadians up to six months free.

The music streaming website Rdio is offering Canadians a chance to try their service for up to six months for free.

Featuring a library that has 18 million songs that are updated on a weekly basis and can be played on most smartphones, tablets and on desktop, users can choose from popular artists to hot newcomers, and every track is playable on demand for as many times as you want. The streaming site doesn't allow ads, meaning uninterrupted music, and Rdio makes it easy to find what you’re looking for, whether it’s an artist, album, song, or playlist. You can also find friends or connect with new people who have similar musical interests as you.

The service launched in the US as well as Canada back in 2010 by Skype co-founder Janus Friis, and it is now currently available in 17 countries worldwide, reported a CBC News article. The free trial will allow users to stream a certain number of songs every month and then subscribe after the free membership has expired.
