Banana Republic is launching a brand new collection, and the ads will feature Canadian model Coco Rocha donning the styles of one of the hit actors from the show – Montreal native Jessica Pare who plays Don Draper's second wife Megan on the series.
According to a Canadian Press article, the collection is designed by Banana Republic in collaboration with Janie Bryant, an Emmy-winning costume designer for the hit series "Mad Men." She said in a press release, "The spirit and fashion-forward thinking we see on-screen in Megan was really inspirational for the capsule."
Full of colour and geometric shapes, plaids, and stripes, the new Banana Republic line for men and women will arrive in stores across the country at the end of the month on February 27th. In addition to women's items, men will discover various sports coats, suits with skinny ties, as well as fedoras, which are all reminiscent of the most popular styles and looks of the 1960s when "Mad Men" is set.
Season 6 of the hit series "Mad Men" will premiere on April 7th on AMC.
