When you are gaming at home on your Xbox 360 or on the road on your Sony PSP, there are times where the silence to others around you is golden. |
That is where a good gaming headset can come in, particularly if it is an ear cup design. One we’ve got our eyes on is the soon to be released Banshee Gaming Headset from Ideazon.
The Banshee Gaming Headset, which will be available later this month for around $70, has a somewhat industrial look to it and appears like it could fit quite comfortably with its padded ear and head pads. It is designed to be ergonomic and lightweight, according to Ideazon, and incorporates features via a design based upon gamer feedback.
Chief among these design touches is what Ideazon describes as “crystal-clear acoustics” so you can hear the tiniest nuances of gaming audio. Technical specifications for those who are interested include 20hz-20,000hz speaker frequency range, 40mm speaker diameter and 116db headset sensitivity.
Also important for gamers on the Banshee Gaming Headset is a detachable microphone with an audio range of 20Hz-16,000Hz and 62dB sensitivity at 1KHz. This is joined by other useful features like a cord range of almost 10 feet, gold plated audio jack connectors, a 6.5mm stereo jack adapter and a 3.5mm audio jack.
