This Tech Squib takes us all one step closer to the happy day when the only cord you'll ever need is the one they cut when you're born.

The Meelectronics AF32 Wireless Headphones offer the freedom of movement with your music. Along the way, it can even liberate you from the addiction of an ever-present cell phone in your hand. It holds a hidden microphone that allows the headphones to double as a phone-ready headset.

The stereo Bluetooth on-ear headphones have three toggle switches on the right earphone that control power, Bluetooth pairing, phone calls, volume and music tracks. The AF32 has a USB charging cord that plugs into the 3.5 mm audio jack. If your music source doesn't have Bluetooth, the AF32 come with an audio cable.

The on-ear design is more comfortable than many over-ear units that cost a good deal more. At about $80, these wireless headphones cost less than wired units that provide similar quality. So, they provide quality sound with the sweetest of all features — freedom.
