Atomic9 Bluetooth Wristband Speakerphone

Atomic9 reinvents the Bluetooth device.

I for one can’t stand in-ear Bluetooth devices. They’re clunky and by the time you finally get the earpiece in the call has gone to voice mail. (You also don’t want to be one of those guys who walks around with your earpiece in all of the time.)

Luckily, Atomic9 has come up with a very cool solution, a wristband speakerphone. This is a Bluetooth device that fits right on your wrist, not in your ear. The Atomic9 Bluetooth Wristband Speakerphone does everything your earpiece does, plus it makes you look like James Bond.

The Atomic9 Bluetooth Wristband Speakerphone works just like a regular Bluetooth device and comes with a bevy of features. You can play music through the speaker, for instance. The wristband also includes audio caller ID, voice activated commands to place and answer phone calls, and vibration and sound alert options. The device can work up to 30 feet away from a cell phone. There’s even a handy alarm to warn you when you are getting too far away from your cell (the range is about 30 feet). The battery life is solid, with 4 hours of active talk time and 160 hours of standby time.

I found the wristband is most effective in the car, where fumbling with an awkward earpiece can be dangerous. It’s easy to answer and screen calls, and there is no looking around for the device because it’s always right there on your wrist. Bluetooth devices are all about safety and convenience, and this wristband offers both. For less than a hundred bucks, this is a solid buy.
