Podcast Review: Boars, Gore, and Swords

Looking for the perfect Comedy/Geek/Game of Thrones Podcast? We’ve got a good one this week!

In case you’ve been living in a cave for the last ten weeks (all sincerest apologies to the renowned cave-men of West Virginia), Game of Thrones on HBO just ended their second season this past Sunday. We know it’s hard. Dry your eyes – and Old Gods be good, it’ll be back again and again.

But don’t worry! We here at CRAVE Online have found the ideal podcast to bring you your Game of Thrones fix in the off-season: Boars, Gore, and Swords. Helmed by comedians Ivan Hernandez and Red Scott, this podcast covers the latest GOT episodes, all hilariously dissected by the duo, along with general musings about pop-culture, fantasy, and the best ways to cut someone’s head off with a big-ass sword.

Don’t worry if you’ve already seen the show — chances are the back episodes will be both informative and give you an fresh, amusing look at the series. Better now than never. Next season is only a mere forty-two weeks away!

What’s that? You don’t like Game of Thrones and you think Peter Dinklage is mediocre at best? The guys at Boars, Gore, and Swords have got you covered. In addition to GOT, the pair covers Downton Abby, Sherlock, and Dr. Who, with their “What You Should Be Watching” episodes.  Equally just as good.

BOTTOM LINE: If you’re slightly interested in GOT, fantasy, or comedy for that matter, and have an hour to kill in the car to and from work — this is right up your alley. The back episodes start strong and get only better from there. It’s sure to be worth your time.
