If you get queasy easily, do not watch this clip. For the rest of you, let’s get through the facts before you attempt to watch the clip without puking. This is Georgi Kirilov Georgiev, a Bulgarian runner trying to qualify for the Olympics at the European Championships in Helsinki. With about 10 meters left in his sprint, Georgiev slows up before his leg completely buckles under him at the most unnatural angle possible. Considering how disgusting the injury looked, Georgiev got off fairly easy. The sprinter only suffered a broken leg and a dislocated knee.
