I don’t know about you, but I miss seeing Jim Carrey in films — the man is brilliant. But now that he’s not doing many movies these days he’s just using his time to show up at events and completely confuse the hell out of reporters. Well, that’s what he did recently anyway.
The 55-year-old comedian showed up to a party during New York Fashion Week — a party celebrating “icons,” and let’s just say that Carrey did not have time for some useless questions that the reporter was throwing at him. Here’s just one response that the actor hands out:
“There’s no meaning to any of this. I wanted to find the most meaningless thing I could come to and join, and here I am.”
“Celebrating icons?” Carrey adds. “Boy, that is absolutely just the lowest-aiming possibility that we could come up with.”
That wasn’t the end of things. Take a listen at the strange rant Carrey follows up with.
As high as Carrey sounds, I have no clue if he’s actually on anything. What I do know is that Carrey was probably the smartest guy in that event and the reporter was obviously not ready for it at all.
So in the words of Carrey, “There is no me. There’s just things happening, and there are clusters of tetrahedrons moving around together.”
