That’s one way to get from Point A to Point B.

According to UPI, an officer with the Colorado Springs Police Department was recently speeding to the scene of an accident when he was blindsided by a daredevil raccoon jumping onto the hood of his moving car.

Raccoon Takes Joyride On Hood Of Colorado Springs Police Cruiser

“Officer Frabbiele discovered that raccoons do come out at night and was pawsitively surprised when one ended up on his windshield as he was enroute to a serious injury accident,” the Colorado Springs Police Department wrote on their Facebook page. “He found a safe place to pull over and snapped the other two photos of the hitchhiker.”

We’re not sure exactly what the raccoon got his hands on while he was digging through some Colorado Springs local’s garbage, but if it made him crazy enough to run into oncoming traffic and jump on top of a moving police cruiser, then we have no choice but to assume that he came across a can of Four Loko that wasn’t totally empty.

The crazy bastard wound up being OK after Officer Frabbiele pulled to the side of the road and removed him from the hood.
