The 41-year-old, who is a popular singer in a band called Lama, was heading back home from a vacation in Turkey when she was stopped and questioned about her travel documents. But why the drama? Because officials believed Dzenkiv was actually 20 years younger than what her passport stated and therefore needed answers.

“When I found out the reason for my arrest,” Dzenkiv said. “I even started laughing as it was the age in my passport. I am already used to compliments about the way I look, but I couldn’t have imagined that it might be a reason for detaining me.”

But not to worry because Dzenkiv was allowed to pass through passport control after people recognized her and started asking for autographs and selfies.

So this groundbreaking story at least has a happy ending. Now enjoy a few more photos of this singer you’ve never heard of.
