Everyone knows what the famous Stanley hotel is all about — it’s the Colorado hotel that inspired Stephen King to write his famous novel “The Shining.” And if that’s not creepy enough perhaps a photo showing some ghosts at that hotel will be. Let us explain.
John Mausling and his wife, Jessica were participating in a “spirit tour” at the hotel when they noticed something strange in one of the photos they had taken: it looks like a little girl is walking down the stairs, and the couple insist that they were no young girls on the 11-member tour.
Here’s what the couple told Huffington Post.
“At first we tried to be logical and think we somehow missed her so we asked our kids, their girlfriends and our friend if they remembered seeing a little girl. Nobody did. We do not remember seeing anything on the stairs when we took the picture.”
Here’s the photo they took. See the little girl?
Here’s a closer look:
Well that’s terrifying. And it has even stumped Ben Hansen, a former FBI agent and host of “Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files. Here’s what Hansen had to say.
“I really like this photo. Assuming that it’s not doctored, it ranks up there as one of the best photos of possible paranormal evidence I’ve seen. If it is faked, I’ve got to hand it to them for their level of detail and creativity because there’s usually enough easy signs to suggest hoaxing.”
There also seems to be another ghost in the photo, too. You can spot the ghost on the stairs next to the woman in gray.
“Through the stair railing posts you should see the lower half of this person like you do the tour guide and the shoes of the person on the stairs… but I can’t make out any lower half,” John said.
Whether you believe in ghost or not you cannot discount the fact that this is pretty damn creepy.
