The flurry of furry Instagram and Twitter activity began in September and culminated with The Book of Noodle, a colorful adventure story of the animated band’s guitarist since 2010’s Plastic Beach release.

The British virtual band created by Blur’s Damon Albarn and animator Jamie Hewlett were originally rumored to be releasing their fifth album this year and first since 2011’s The Fall this year. The good news is that Albarn has said that their fifth album was “really fuckin’ special” and the even better news is that it would be finished recording in “two weeks.”
