Lost in the run-up to Grammy Awards week was the big announcement that Disclosure was going on a hiatus. Brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence posted a handwritten note on their Facebook and Twitter pages detailing the news.
Although diehards were concerned that the sincerely written thank you note had the somber tone of a goodbye letter, the UK production duo closed the message with a “we will be back,” although they gave no timetable other than telling fans that they would appear at their own Wild Life Festival June 10-11.
Disclosure deserve a break, considering the musical festival favorites have been either touring or putting out music since they broke out onto the dance music scene in 2013 with Settle, launching the career of Sam Smith in the process. They most recently put out a well-received E.P., Moog For Love in 2016.
