Non-beliebers’ prayers have been answered as Justin Bieber is going away for a while. The Canadian pop singer has cancelled the remaining dates of his “Purpose” tour.

Bieber released a statement via social media explaining that he plugged the plug on the 18 month tour, which was continuing to Asia and some more U.S. dates, because of “unforeseen circumstances,” but thanked his fans aka Beliebers for their support. See his full statement below.

Although most believe that Bieber canceled the tour due to exhaustion, TMZ is reporting that the real reason is that the bad boy has “rededicated his life to Christ”, which has angered his crew because they’re out some serious income, regardless of his reasons for taking a break.

One person who is happy for Bieber’s decision is John Mayer, who defended his Purpose tour cancellation.
