Red Gone Wild, finally!

After an unbelievable six year break from “official” releases, Redman is coming back with a new album called “Red Gone Wild: Thee Album”. Red has not been just sitting around in his now famous crib or hanging out with The Dog Whisperer, who takes care of his dog “Daddy”. Redman has been releasing mixtapes on his label Gilla House. Last year Redman released Volume 2 of the Ill At Will series, entitled BC4: Straight Outta Lo-Cash, presented by his Gilla House crew and featuring Red's collaborators Govmattic, Saukrates, Icarus, and Melanie.

Check out the new Timbaland produced song “Put It Down” here.

If you are heading to the South by Southwest festival (March 14-17th) in Austin, you can expect to see the Funk Doc performing there.

The production is handled by Erick Sermon, Scott Storch, Timbaland, Rockwilder, and special appearances by Red's partners in rhyme, Method Man, Erick Sermon and Keith Murray, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, and Biz Markie. Red Gone Wild - Thee Album, hits stores on March 27th.
