Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi – Rome (Full Album Stream)

This collaboration is set to evoke the spirit of the 1960s' Italian movie soundtracks, the catalyst for Luppi & Danger Mouse's unique collaboration. If that doesn't sound like your cup of tea, here's another reason to get excited: Jack White & Norah Jones contribute to a few tracks.

The album itself defies modern convention, a musical period piece that gives one a distinct sense of time displacement. It's a great listen, but the high point is, indeed, Jack White's performance on "Two Against One".

Death Cab For Cutie: "Home Is a Fire" (Official Video)

More Death Cab! File this one under "riiiight, that's art." Directed by famous counterculture artist Shepard Fairey and Death Cab bassist Nicholas Harmer, the video for Death Cab For Cutie's "Home Is A Fire" features an assortment of seemingly totally random urban settings, as well as a little wheatpaste vandal action. If we're being honest, it's a waste of time that banks a little too hard on Shep's rep to pull clicks. There's nothing to see here, and the song isn't much better.

Codes And Keys is available May 31 on Atlantic Records. Pick it up at their official site

Lady Gaga: “The Edge of Glory” (Audio)

The latest single off GaGa's forthcoming LP Born This Way features E Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons. This is certainly a departure from "Judas".`

Born This Way hits stores May 23rd via Interscope.

Thurston Moore: "Benediction" (Official Video)

Thurston Moore‘s latest solo LP, the Beck-produced Demolished Thoughts, hit stores Ma 24th via Matador Records. Watch the video for the album track “Benediction,” a sun-spoiled trip through old stock footage.

Pre-orders for Demolished Thoughts are now ongoing via Amazon.com.

J. Mascis: "Is It Done" (Official Video)

Eddie Vedder: "Longing To Belong" (Official Video)

Anticipation is hitting a fever pitch among Pearl Jam fans for Eddie Vedder's latest solo effort Ukulele Songs, due May 31 alongside a live DVD from the frontman.

A pre-feast appetizer comes by way of a video for the track "Longing to Belong". Hi-def footage blends with Super 8 tape (Ed's video technology of choice) to capture several surfer-daydream shots of a beautiful Hawaiian backdrop as the fragile ballad unfolds, a testament to love's yearning gravity.:
