Nas – "Nasty"

“Nasty,” the first single to surface from Nas’ upcoming 10th album Life Is Good, is an exciting taste of what's to come from the Queens-bred rapper. Check out the accompanying new video below, With The Nasty One taking a trip down memory lane – literally.

Jane's Addiction – The Great Escape Artist (Full Album Stream)

A few days ago we posted a glowing review of Jane's Addiction's first album in eight years, The Great Escape Artist. If you head over to iTunes today, where the album is being streamed in its entirety, you can hear for yourself why it's in the runnings for Album of the Year.

Jane's Addiction are currently on tour across the US, and The Great Escape Artist arrives next Tuesday, October 18th. Don't miss it!

Puscifer – The Conditions Of My Parole (Full Album Stream)

The latest album from Tool/A Perfect Circle frontman Maynard James Keenan's other project Puscifer arrives next week, but thanks to we've got a full stream of the album for you ahead of schedule.

The album, which is a leap of stylistic evolution and depth from the project's first release, was recorded in Northern Arizona, where Maynard lives and owns & oversees vineyards for his Caduceus Wines brand. The man’s serious enough about wine these days that he set up a recording studio in the wine cellar.

New Puscifer contributors include ex-Mars Volta drummer Jon Theodor, L.A. songwriter Juliette Commagere, ASHES dIVIDE drummer Jeff Friedl and bassist Matt McJunkins, and Bat for Lashes percussionist Sarah Jones.

We'll have a review for you soon. In the meantime, pick up a hot sack of Puscifer at the band's official website.

Evanescence – Evanescence (Full Album Stream)

Evanescence has quite a bit of proving ground ahead of them on their new LP, after well-publicized member departures and drama over the years. Thankfully, Amy Lee and the band are focusing on fun this time around – but don't take our word for it. Check out the new self-titled album below, which arrived in stores Oct. 11th.

Jack White – "Love Is Blindness" (U2 cover)

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of their classic album Achtung Baby, U2 are set to be honored with a compilation of cover versions of all the songs on the record. The CD, entitled AHK-toong BAY-bi Covered, is set to come bundled with Q Magazine’s 25th anniversary issue, on October 26.

The first taste from the album is none other than Third Man Records mastermind Jack White, who lays out a blistering, incredible take on the classic heartbreaker track. Watch out for that solo…

Listen to Jack White cover "Love Is Blindness":

U2’s frontman Bono stated about the covers CD: “It’s strange, because when I hear the album, when U2 do it, all I hear is what’s wrong with it. But when I heard all these artists doing it, I thought, ‘It’s really good.” The cover of the magazine adds the necessary, hyperbolic quote: “Some of these versions are better than our own!”

Damien Rice – "One" (U2 cover)
