In the anticipatory run-up to the release of his first solo album Blunderbuss, Jack White guested on "Saturday Night Live" this past weekend in his first-ever solo appearance in front of a televised audience.

The performances can't necessarily be called solo, as Jack alternately had a band full of female musicians on his new single "Love Interruption," and a band of men backing him on a new track he debuted, called "Sixteen Saltines".

Also check out "Sixteen Saltines," a much more rocking track in the more direct vein of the White Stripes blazers that fans have been pining for since the band announced their breakup last year.

White is set to begin a North American tour on March 10, prior to Blunderbuss dropping on April 24. You can pre-order the album here.
