Following the unveiling of the music video for their latest single 'Perfect World' early last month, Gossip have now made their latest album A Joyful Noise available for fans to listen to over at The Guardian website.

According to flamboyant frontwoman Beth Ditto, the album was inspired by the "zero rawness" of ABBA; "I think I'm really infatuated with that right now because that's not the music I usually listen to", she added.. "It never caught my attention before."

The band worked with Xenomania founder Brian Higgins on the album, who has previously worked with the likes of Kylie Minogue, Pet Shop Boys and Girls Aloud, which should give you an indication of what musical path Ditto & co. are taking. It will be their fifth studio LP following 2009's Music For Men and is set for a May 22nd US release.
