The Rolling Stones have unveiled a new track from their upcoming Greatest Hits compilation 'GRRR!', the second they have released from the LP since returning to the studio for the first time in 7 years.
The successor to their recent "comeback" single 'Doom and Gloom' (is the term comeback even applicable to The Stones?), 'One More Shot' was written by both Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and recorded in Paris with the help of Don Was, who collaborated with the band on their last five LPs.
The track itself is led by a blistering riff from Keith Richards, who works his magic on the track with louche bravado, making 'One More Shot' just another reminder of how The Stones have managed to survive for half a century in the business whilst never compromising their vision. 'One More Shot' is more familiar territory for the rock legends, but that doesn't make it any less exciting.
The Rolling Stones are set to play at London's O2 Arena on November 25th and 29th to celebrate their 50th anniversary, along with two nights at Newark's Prudential Center in New Jersey in the US on December 13th and 15th.
'GRRR!' is set for release on November 12th, which you can preorder from their official website/
