Our favorite Long Beach residents the Cold War Kids have officially announced their fourth studio album, Dear Miss Lonely Hearts, set for release on April 1st through Downtown Records.

Recorded with producer Lars Stalfors, Dear Miss Lonely Hearts is the first CWK release to feature former Modest Mouse member Dann Gallucci, who recently replaced guitarist Jonathan Russell. We're going to miss his harmonies, to be honest.

Frontman Nathan Willett offered up some insight on the new album in a press release: “We were shaken up, ready to let certain songs go further than before by trying new styles and arrangements, while keeping others sparse and caring more about the finished product and less about how we got there”.

Keep up with the band at their official site.
