Canadian crooner Michael Buble will host the 2013 Juno Awards on April 21st.

The announcement came during this weekend's Super Bowl when Buble hilariously slipped under the covers with Nickelback's Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne.

In the premiere of the 30-second promo, Buble popped in-between Lavigne and Kroeger to deliver the message – both to the musical power couple and all Canadians – that he plans to hit all the right notes as host of this year’s Juno Awards broadcast.

Winner himself of a number of Juno as well as Grammy awards, Buble will soon be announcing details on the release of his forthcoming fifth studio album and will perform the album’s first single during this year's Junos broadcast. In June, Buble will also headline an incredible 10-night run at London’s O2 Arena.

“It's a huge honour to be the host of a show that has done so much for Canadian talent, including myself,” said Buble in an official press release. “I am going to do my very best to make it a great night!”

“We are privileged to have Michael Buble take the helm as host of CTV’s 2013 JUNO AWARDS broadcast,” said Phil King, President of CTV Programming and Sports. “Mr. Buble will no doubt impress Canadian audiences on the biggest and most spectacular night in Canadian music.”

"This year’s show is sure to be second to none with Michael Buble lighting up the stage with his infallible charm and charisma," said Melanie Berry, President & CEO of CARAS/The JUNO Awards. “I can’t wait to see his incredible sense of humour shine!”

The Juno Award nominees will be announced on February 19th.
