Canadian sister and indie pop team Tegan and Sara are nominated for a Grammy Award and have also announced a summer tour schedule.

"My mom's like: 'I think you're going to win,"' laughed Tegan Quin in a recent interview with CTV News. "I was like, 'Mom, we're up against Mumford & Sons and U2. You're high."'

The 55th Grammy Awards will take place this Sunday, and Sara and Tegan are up for a "Best Long Form Music Video" Grammy for "Get Along," a DVD that was released back in November of 2011. "(It) was a labour of love," Sara told CTV. "We spent a lot of time working on it. So to have it recognized on such a high level, that's so exciting for us. Whether you believe in these systems of grading and competition… it doesn't matter. Because your parents love it, your friends think it's cool. We're stoked."

They'll also go on a North American summer tour to open for the band fun. Only one Canadian stop is on the route in Toronto to kick off the tour July 6th. The rest of the performances will take place in the States.

The duo, who hail from Calgary, formed their band back in '95 and, since that time, they've won five Juno awards. They have released a total of seven studio albums including their most recent project, 2013's "Heartthrob." The siblings, who are also twins, have had their songs featured on a number of television programs as well as movies such as "Being Erica," "Grey's Anatomy," "Monster-in-Law," and "Waterloo Road."
