The entirety of the music industry descended on Anaheim, CA last week for the 2013 National Association of Music Merchants convention (NAMM) and amidst the ocean of gorgeous guitars & drums we were like kids in a musical candy store, scoping the latest tech developments and offerings from every facet of the trade.

In addition to getting product-profile updates on everything from effects pedals to turntables and microphones (check out our highlights), we set our sights on the world of guitars and amps on display at the Anaheim Convention Center.

We had a chance to check out the unique, artistic selection of products from James Trussart Guitars, while also getting an exclusive demo on one of them from Danny B. Harvey of The Head Cat, a band featuring Lemmy from Motorhead.

Shortly after we made our way to the Rickenbacker guitar display, which was beautifully laid out with some of the finest axes we saw all weekend. Brandon, a rep for the brand, gave us the run-down on a couple of the featured guitars in the showcase:

We were also treated to a full walkthrough profile on Laney Amps' latest offerings, with a walkthrough on what makes the brand so unique:
