Chris Brown Thanks Adele for Denying Grammy Confrontation

Brown appreciates the "Skyfall" singer "speaking truth."

Earlier this week we reported on the rumours surrounding Adele and Chris Brown's alleged bust-up at the Grammys, following Chris Brown's refusal to get off his woman-beating backside and applaud Frank Ocean for winning the award for Best Urban Contemporary Album.

Unfortunately, Adele later revealed on Twitter that the above photograph, which allegedly depicted the 'Skyfall' singer arguing with Brown, was actually of the two complimenting each other.

"Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually," she tweeted, and everyone rolled their eyes in unison. What could she possibly have been complimenting him about? "You're looking buff tonight, Chris, have you been hitting the gym lately? Or women's faces?"

Well, Brown appreciates Adele's honesty (because seriously, there aren't many other people who'd have the balls to openly admit that they'd complimented Chris Brown), tweeting"Pleasure to meet u @OfficialAdele I heard your words and that's all that matters. Thank u for speaking truth. CB".

But while we're waiting for the universe to deliver Brown his inevitable comeuppance, maybe we should just pretend that Adele wasn't complimenting Brown and was, in actuality, tearing him a new one. Maybe we should pretend that rather than complimenting him on his shit music and dodgy tattoos, she was instead commenting on his ridiculously white suit, that made him look like a black Texan oil baron.

Brown wasn't done with sharing the love on Twitter, though, as he wished his fans a Happy Valentine's Day, tweeting: "CB: HAPPY VALENTINES DAY to all the beautiful women in the world. Our Queens … Our mothers, sisters, and daughters. I love you." Unfortunately for us Rihanna isn't actually a Queen, because if that was the case Brown's punishment may have been more severe than a few hours of community service and a slap on the wrist.
