Is there anybody better suited to portray the role of David Bowie's wife than Tilda Swinton? The answer is no. No there is not.

This is evidenced in the video for 'The Stars (Are Out Tonight)', the second single taken from Bowie's upcoming album The Next Day, set to be released on March 11th. The video features Bowie and Swinton as husband and wife, being puppeteered by younger versions of themselves as they seemingly struggle to contain their aspiring rockstar daughter (who bares much than a passing resemblance to Bowie's Ziggy Stardust persona) while going through mid-life crisises themselves.

The video, which is available to view below, was directed by Floria Sigismondi, who has previously collaborated with Bowie on the videos for 'Little Wonder' and 'Dead Man Walking' in the 90s. It's now available to purchase digitally.
